Today, we're talking to James Altucher. And for this channel, I will tell you, he started an agency back in the 2000s that he sold. He's worked with HBO. He's worked with a ton of major companies. He is the ultimate eccentric entrepreneur of the new age, is probably the best way to describe him. He started as an agency owner, built it into a multi-million dollar business, sold the agency, lost money a bunch of times, made money a bunch of times.
He's done everything, including options trading, making millions of dollars there. He's touched the TV business, doing a pilot for HBO. He sent me an early copy of his book, and we're going to sit down for an interview and I want you to listen to it because this is an entrepreneur that does not care what the typical process of entrepreneurship should be.
He wanted to be a standup comedian, so he bought a comedy club in New York and he just went for it. He wanted to start an online course, and he didn't care about coming off as sketchy or scammy. He ended up launching something like Bitcoin millionaire tells the future, something like that, made millions of dollars there. So this is a guy that has no hesitation at all about making money, and apparently no hesitation about losing money. I've looked up with this guy for a long time, and I wanted to share this interview with you. So let's jump into it.
