Why People Lie About Lead Generation

Why people lie about lead generation? That is a question that is asked quite often, and I've been asked this question by many different people. This question has been answered quite simply and efficiently. People lie about lead generation because they don't want to be associated with a business that is out of their league. What I mean by that is that they are simply not interested in the lead generation business and probably wouldn't be interested in working for it anyway.

Another reason for a person to lie about their level of interest in a business is the fact that it's not in their league or skill set. They will simply dismiss the opportunity as something that isn't going to be of any use to them. This can be seen on the internet by the sites that have huge visitor totals but low sign up totals. They will say things like "my work computer is more than adequate for this business"my skill level is better served to do something else". In other words, they just don't think that they're good enough to make money with a particular opportunity. This is a big problem because people want to believe that the leads are for them.

The fact is that it's possible to lie about why people lie about lead generation. What's more important to you than your ability to generate leads is your ability to grow your business. It is amazing how many new business owners put their heads in the sand when it comes to the question of what to do to generate more sales. Why is this so? Because they are talking about what they think is impossible!
