3 Powerhouse Ways to Explode Your Interior Design Incredible Interior Design Marketing Strategies: in this video I want to be going over one insanely underused strategy that interior designers aren't taking advantage of. So, just in case you don't know who I am, my name's Zukais, and I'm an SEO consultant. I grow businesses by ranking them on Google.

So let's get straight into this video. The strategy I'm talking about here is called SEO. Now, as a business owner, you probably already know what SEO is, now just in case you don't know, SEO simply stands for search engine optimization. It's the act of ranking your business website for your desired keywords. So, for interior designers, you'd be going after things like interior design London, if you're in London of course, if not, you'd simply switch it to your city. London architecture, interior design Chelsea, living room interior design. And the list goes on, right? You can choose a bunch of different keywords.

These keywords have volume to this, so interior design London has approximately, according to this keyword tool, 6,600 searches a month. Living room interior design has approximately 22,200 searches a month. So that's a lot of searches a month, and if you're showing up in the top results for these searches, guess what? You're going to be getting a lot of clicks, and if your website is set up properly, these clicks will then turn into leads, and then these leads will then transition into clients.

So if you're ranking number one, for something like interior design for small living room, if you're ranking here or even in top five, you'd be getting clicks to your website, and of course leads, and then customers. So that's the whole benefit of SEO.

So if you're figuring out, or trying to figure out how do I put together an SEO campaign, or what are the top three steps? Well the first thing you're going to want to do is actually redesign your website. And the reason why I say this, and of course it depends on who you are, is because for the vast majority of interior design or architecture types of websites I've visited, they're extremely outdated, they're clunky, they're not set up for conversions, and the code is something that Google struggles to read, so it's going to be hard for them to rank your website. So that's the first thing you're going to want to do. Redesign your website.

Now just in case you don't know who you should look for, or who you should choose to redesign you website. You could just email me, and I'll be more than happy to point you in the right direction.

So the second thing you're going to want to do is optimize your service pages. So what services do you offer? You're just going to create landing pages for them. So let's just say you do interior design for living rooms. You're going to create a dedicated landing page to that keyword, and of course you're going to make sure that keyword has search volume. So for this it has 1,900 searches a month. You're going to make sure that has volume to it. And you're simply going to optimize it. For example, the images, the URL, the titles, etc., you're going to make sure to optimize and create the copy. So you're basically going to write to sell, and make sure it's optimized for conversion. So make sure you've got your email at the top, or even a call now button so if they're on mobile, they can just click that button, and they'll be able to directly get in touch with you.

So number three, last but not least, is you're going to promote your service pages, right? And this is what's going to help rank them on Google. So all the promotion phase is, is actually very simple. It's going to create back links. So just in case you don't know what a back link is, a back link is simply a link from one website to another website, right? And these back links, the best way to think of them is as votes. The more votes you get to your website, the higher you will rank, right? So the more back links, the higher you will rank. That's just a generalization, but that's pretty much the gist of it.

So those are the three things you're going to want to do in your SEO campaign. First of all, redesign your website. Make sure it's optimized for conversions, and the code is Google friendly. Next up is optimize your service pages, make sure you've written down all your keywords you want to rank for, then go ahead and optimize it for Google, and the visitors landing on your page. And then you're going to want to promote your service pages by building back links, and that's exactly what's going to move it up the Google rankings.
