Every business wants to drive quality leads, but do you have the strategies and systems in place to do that? Today we’ll discuss three tips and tricks for better lead generation. First, create content for different buying stages. Make sure you don’t pass prospects along to sales before they’re ready. Create content that nurtures your leads through different stages of the buying cycle. You may even want to create a content matrix which pairs your buyer personas with the top, middle, and bottom of the funnel and helps you understand which content you need to create for each funnel stage.

Second, once you’ve created those content offers, use calls-to-action wisely, make sure you place them where they’re visible on your website. You may want to test a few different places on your site to understand which location is gonna convert the most leads. Finally, use visual contrast to make your CTAs stand out. Bright colors always help.

The third and final strategy is to create landing pages that convert. Keep your copy as short and concise as possible. And make sure you’re promoting the benefits of downloading your content and not just the content itself. Last but not least, watch the length of your form. Every single field that you add to your form is going to reduce the conversion rate and drive visitors away from your landing pages.
