Using social media for sales leads: A new approach

I've found a more effective way to start using social media for sales leads. I'm teaching it free at or I'll explain here in 2 minutes...

Buyers don't want to trust us, our brands or our products. But if we help them become confident in THEMSELVES as buyers first everything changes. If you give your prospective buyers a sense of confidence in themselves by giving them blogs, videos, podcasts--content that actually DOES for them? They'll trust you. They'll begin to BELIEVE in you enough to buy from you.

You'll start using social media for sales leads more effectively

When it comes to spending our money we humans are hard wired to trust ONLY the people who give us confidence in ourselves. After all, this is how criminal con artist operate. It's all about giving away their confidence.

On social media, trust is not by what you say, how you say it or where you say it. Trust is earned by what your content DOES for prospects that gets them CONFIDENT. Remember the first time you learned how to ride a bike? No matter who it was who helped you get up on that saddle remember the feeling you got.. the sense of confidence in yourself? For me it was my dad who helped me learn. What about you... remember how you felt about the person who gave you that confidence in yourself?

So ask yourself, is your content marketing strategy or social media goal focusing on what you say, how you say it and where you say it on social media? Or is it focused on getting prospects OFF of social media and ONTO a lead nurturing routine that creates CONFIDENCE in them.

Again, this is the difference between struggling and using social media for sales leads effectively.

Does your content teach a new skill to customers? Or help prospects avoid a risk? Or illuminate the path toward an objective they need to achieve? If not, get focused on building CONFINDENCE by DOING something for customers. If you do you'll be making social media sell for you and using social media for sales leads more effectively.
